Interactive Maps
Interactive maps are a great way to learn more about New Hampshire. The Division of Forests & Lands is excited to provide spatial information regarding our natural resources for the public to use for planning, education, and exploration purposes.
The State Lands Viewer
The Department of Natural & Cultural Resources’ State Lands Viewer allows the user to select the state property of their choice to view trails and other features.
The Division of Forests & Lands owns, manages, co-manages and monitors almost one-half million acres of land statewide, from White Island Historic Site in Rye to Wantastiquet Mountain Natural Area in Chesterfield to Connecticut Lakes State Forest in Pittsburg.
For many of these properties, we work directly with Fish & Game, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Forest Service.
You can learn more about these properties by using our Interactive State Lands Viewer.
The Ecosystem Services Map
Ecosystem services offer a lens through which you can view the landscape and its natural resources. This lens may be helpful for those wanting to consider environmental impacts when needing to prioritize areas for management, restoration planning, urban planning, conservation and/or development. The goal of this map is to identify ecosystem services throughout New Hampshire.
Please note, in highly urbanized areas and at very local scales, this map should be interpreted with caution. Not intended for city-level planning.
You can learn more about these ecosystem services through our interactive NH Ecosystems Services Map.
