Urban & Community Forestry
More information regarding the urban and community forestry program in New Hampshire
A robust urban and community forestry program is the only way to fully harness all the benefits provided by trees in public parks, town commons, community forests and roadsides. For more than 60 years, New Hampshire’s urban and community forestry program has helped communities throughout the state realize these windfalls.
New Hampshire’s program is conducted through a partnership between the Division of Forests & Lands and University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension, with funding from the USDA Forest Service’s State and Private Forestry.
